Independent guides. Traceable sources.

Universal Modder Guide is an independent publication maintained by Jiguang. It is not the official Universal Modder project, a download mirror, or a mod marketplace.

Who publishes this guide

Universal Modder Guide is maintained by Jiguang as an independent English-language guide to the open-source Universal Modder project. We are not affiliated with its maintainers, the coding agents it integrates with, or the games discussed here.

The official repository belongs to rehan-remade. Use it for the source code, project announcements, installation updates and upstream issue tracking. This site helps readers navigate setup, costs, examples and common problems; it does not distribute mod installers or collect API keys.

How we check a page

We start with the project's README, command definitions, example instructions and field notes. A specific game claim should point to the example or note that supports it. We compare recorded versions and testing scope instead of turning an engine name into a compatibility promise.

Community questions help identify confusing parts of the workflow. An issue report is evidence that someone reported a symptom. We attribute it and link to the original discussion; we do not promote a proposed workaround to a verified fix without evidence.

AI-assisted drafting is part of our writing process. The editorial standard remains the same: claims need sources, commands need checking, and uncertain results must not be presented as completed tests. We edit for clear instructions rather than long lists of features.

What we have and have not tested

For this launch, we reviewed the upstream installation instructions, CLI command definitions and the three linked example READMEs. We tested this website's navigation, layouts and interactions separately from the software it describes.

We have not independently reproduced the game mods or performed the Windows installation workflows. References to in-game testing describe the upstream author's recorded tests, with their scope and date. The guides do not claim our own gameplay experience.

Dates and corrections

Each guide displays its last substantive review date. The initial review was October 10, 2026. These dates reflect content review, not a promise that we continuously monitor every dependency or upstream issue.

If a command or game detail has changed, send the page URL, the incorrect passage and a primary source to contact@universalmodder.cc. We use correction messages to review the affected content. Please omit credentials and personal game files.

Project bugs belong in the upstream issue tracker. A broken link or misleading sentence on this site belongs with us.

Funding and site use

At launch, this guide has no paid memberships, sponsored placements, affiliate links or advertisements. If that changes, the relevant pages and policies will identify the arrangement. Analytics helps us understand which guides readers use; see privacy and site terms for details and your local analytics control.
